Clean Water Anywhere

Portable solar powered water purification systems from GSEL can make dirty, contaminated water from rivers, lakes, streams. wells or boreholes safe to drink. These highly mobile systems are self-sufficient. They do not require any fuel or connection to the electrical grid. Mounted on a sturdy reinforced trailer, the system can be towed anywhere by a light truck. For security reasons the trailer hitch is removable. The system can rest on its 4 built-in screw jacks. It is also available as a stationary unit. Designed and manufactured in the U.S.A. by GSEL's partner Genesis Water Technologies (GWT), these water purification systems deliver thousands of liters an hour of safe clean drinking water. They are perfect for use in villages, for military operations, remote areas, disaster relief, etc. These systems are built to last, up to 20 years or more. Our system is available with 1000 liter per hour and 3000 liter per hour production capability during sunlight hours. An optional transfer switch allows the system to be operated by generator (not provided) or mains, for 24-hour a day clean water production. Clean water output meets or exceeds World Health Organization standards. The water produced is 99.99 % ( 4-log ) free of pollutants, bacteria, viruses and other pathogens. The system can pump water from wells 30 meters deep, or from surface sources, like rivers or lakes. System design can be modified for deeper wells.

Our systems

Our systems features a pre-filtration “straw” that draws in source water and acts as a preliminary filter, eliminating particles that often foul pumps in other machines.

This is a huge advantage, and one reason these water purification systems perform reliably, day after day, year after year.

In 2009, at the request of the Iraqi government, GSEL partner Mark Snyder designed, manufactured and deployed 325 solar powered water purification systems throughout Iraq. This helped stop an outbreak of cholera, providing clean water to hundreds of thousands of Iraqi citizens. You can see a news broadcast about this at right.

Our Services Include

Fast forward to 2020. Mark has joined forces with Genesis Water Techologies, another GSEL partner. Genesis is now producing the solar powered water purification system originally pioneered by Mark Snyder.

No Other System Comes Close

The following results for bacteria and other contaminants are typical of the specialized Genesis Electrocoagulation (EC) Process. Tests were conducted by a qualified independent laboratory.

Remote Monitoring

The Genesis Water Technology is available with optional remote monitoring capabilities in areas with cellular phone service,  to monitor the systems’s performance

Minimal Maintenance

The Electrocoagulation part of the Genesis process (right) requires no moving parts, no chemicals and minimal maintenance

Clean water output meets or exceeds World Health Organization Standards , 99.99 % ( 4-log ) free of pollutants, bacteria, viruses and other pathogens, Suspended Solids ( TSS ) filtration to less than 5 ppm.

Note: System will not purify water heavily contaminated by industrial pollution, fertilizer or pesticide runoff, or septic runoff. Water contaminated in this way is generally not used for source water.
