Project Details
Project Objectives:
- We undertook this project to Migrate legacy clinical servers to new Microsoft OS, throughout North West London. These servers were within a clininical setting during operational hours, so there was an emphasis on mininmal downtime and interruption to a live service. On project completion there were over 200 servers migrated.
List of objectives and directives:
- Server OS upgrade to Windows 2012 / 2016
- User AD accounts migrated
- User Data Migrated into Namespace and shared folders created.
- Group policies created and updated
- Organisation of OU’s and policies
- Clinical servers and services migrated
- With minimal down time
- Legacy Servers fixed before migrating
- Creation of Technical documentation
