Günter Zweiner plays a pivotal role in collaboration with GSEL. As the CEO of BONERGO GmbH, an Austrian firm, he leads initiatives in Energy Efficiency and Waste Heat projects across multiple countries including Turkey, India, and Cambodia. BONERGO is also renowned for its energy storage sales and services across Europe, alongside its involvement in the development of Waste to Energy gasification projects.
Additionally, Mr. Zweiner is an integral member of Die Firma s.r.o, based in Czechoslovakia. This organization specializes in implementing a wide range of energy projects, encompassing both renewable and fossil fuel sources, as well as infrastructure, mining, and oil and gas field projects.
Since 1999, Mr. Zweiner has been instrumental in the acquisition, planning, operational management, breakdown management, and commercial oversight of 102 bioenergy projects.
These projects include:
– 70 biomass plants, complete with approximately 350 km of community heating lines. – 20 biogas plants, paired with energy recovery concepts. – 55 Pellet Plants. – 2 geothermal plants. – A notable Waste-to-Energy project in Arnoldstein, Austria, handling 100,000 tons of waste annually. – 5 projects focused on the recovery of industrial waste heat. – 3 special projects, which include a steam propeller engine and the integration of solar heat into community heating networks. – 2 wind energy projects. – 10 photovoltaic projects.
